When I got this account, I was an undergraduate and college radio DJ. My show was called "theabstractbeatworkshop," with the handle joan9 (hence the flickr handle beatjoan9). Crossing radio off my bucketlist, I graduated with a BBA in MIS, and went into IT working my way up from Help Desk to IT Server systems administrator. I returned to school in my mid-adult life to become an archivist/librarian, and graduated in May 2017 with my degree. I currently work as a solo-Librarian/Archivist at the NOAA Pacific Islands Fisheries Science Center. I like hiking, art, cats, nature, food, and my library life, so that's mostly what you will see here. Aloha!
