Rob and Sarah....well, what to say about us? The 'we' bit I guess is that we are a couple who have known each other for rather a long time - since 1976, in fact (!); we've been together for a quarter of a century now and married for a good few of those..and, to quote Andrew Collins, we are 'married, with cats'!

Sarah is an academic librarian; Rob now a rather reluctant house-husband. OK, it's not how either of us imagined it would be, or even wanted, but for the time being it's just how it is. Sarah is a craftswoman who spins, knits, sews, quilts...the list goes on; Rob is an architectural addict who has spent more time than is healthy looking at buildings and to further fuel his habit collects absurd numbers of books on the subject.

As an aside, our house is small - and very full!

Rob has another passion, for tattoos & tattooing, and that will be abundantly clear from the pictures....Sarah has grown accustomed to this - 'On you own Head be it' is her view - and indeed, it literally is...

We seem to have collected cats over the years, who have come and gone, as cats tend to do. Current incumbent in the role of Feline Mistress of The Pair of Us is Maggie, a rescued, somewhat disabled ex-feral girl who keeps us in order. She is frighteningly intelligent!

Well, that will have to do to be going on with...
