Be-friending Ingrid through Flickr has been beautiful- not only for the astoundingly lovely photos and subjects she shoots, but because her sense of humor is warm, and inviting. Right away I knew that her perspective on life, art, and happiness is of a kindred nature to mine. However, I am deeply disturbed that she has hinted, on more than one occasion, that she thinks Debbie Gibson is a wonderful songstress and will make a comeback in a major way. Clearly, like us all, Ingrid is not perfect and is slightly delusional. But her photos make up for that.

Ingrid has a Outstanding Photostream with Stunning Images!!! And what a beautiful family she has also...WOW let me tell ya her son L has the most beautiful blonde hair and blue eyes. He really is a handsome little man!! :-) I totally adore her images and her work!! She's quite an inspiring young woman. And her comments are also incredible...I swear it seems like when she leaves me comments I see so much more in my images through her words that I some how missed...it amazes me!! I wish I could comment like her....I feel as thou I am cheating her in that department. Her daring son L (the one and only) is an artist incase you didn't know that and one day will be selling his work!! I enjoy seeing his art work tremendously!!! He's very creative like his mother. Every time he creates something new she'll upload it to share with us and it makes me smile, I'm always happy to see it!! She's also a wonderful friend so caring and supportive...I'm utterly ecstatic to have met her here through Flickr. I see a wonderful friendship growing for years to come!! There's bean*mama's photography and then there's bean*mama herself. Her photographs are warm, cozy, by turns quietly celebratory and outright joyful. They invite the viewer into her home and her life and it's a really fun trip. And bean*mama the person represents the best of the Flickr experience to me. She's so good for the community, and I'm proud to call her a friend. She's a unique individual, but she's also a dedicated mama who's as nuts about her little boy as I am about mine. I can't wait to see how our relationship... er... develops.

A few weeks ago, she was just a contact of a contact, but now she is one of the best commentors on my stream, and the photographer behind one of my favorite streams. Don't pay any attention to her profile, she DOES know what she's doing with a camera. The bean*mama also has a wonderful command of the english language. That may seem petty, but it makes for poetic and sharp captions on her photos, with snappy comments on mine.

She's one of those rare people who knows a little something about everything--from poetry to music to art. She knows how to capture childhood at its finest.
