Author and freelance writer/photographer originally based in Vancouver, I started taking photography a bit more seriously in 2006, bought a dSLR, and joined a camera club. I've been a freelance writer and author for 54 years but in 2009 began writing and illustrating travel articles for the first time. My images have been published in national and international markets in print and online. Others have been exhibited and sold.

Organizations have contracted me for photographic services including Marriott's Shadow Ridge Golf Club in Palm Desert, CA, the BC Highland Games, two realtors, two restaurants, a bespoke wine tour, and more. I do the photography for Grandmothers for Africa in the South Okanagan of BC, Canada.

Many of the images in my photostream since that time have been taken to illustrate my writing. More and more I have the time to go out with my Nikon D500 and take photos for creative purposes as I try to retire! I'm now a member of CAPA and the Penticton Photography Club in BC, Canada. I attend the photo walks that we do regularly as well as our image evaluations.
