I wanted to take a moment or two to write about my friend Mr Beachcomber (AKA Steve). I have been a delighted fan of Steve's work for just over a year. His eye for the lone beached boat, the fluttering Gull, the cast-about wave and the thoughtful night scenes are to me unparalleled. Of course his work extends well beyond the few mentioned. Many times if not most, his work is accompanied with thoughtful prose or poems. This just adds to the flavor of the captured image. Sometimes a phrase or two is used from a literary work. Always credited and always keenly to the point. During the last year, I have benefited form Steve's kind words and thoughts regarding my work. I have come to look forward to his insightful input and encouragement. I am honored to write this testimonial for a fantastic photographer, a kind peer and a long distance friend. Hip! Hip! Hoorah!
