Let me start by saying that I'm fairly new to photography, buying my first DSLR (a Canon 400D) late in 2008. About a year later I upgraded because I kept drooling over a full-frame sensor, and since then, have never looked back. I now shoot with a Canon 5D MkII.

... and the list keeps growing! I also use a Manfrotto Tripod, a couple of strobes and throw all my gear into a Lowepro Slingshot 300 AW which keeps my gear safe & snug. I'm very interested in Strobist photography and dabble in off-camera flash work. I don't have a favourite style of photography, and take inspiration from the incredible people I've met on Flickr. I aspire to be even close to the same league as my wonderful friends here. They really are disgustingly talented.

I live in Carmarthenshire, South Wales, in the UK. Aside from photography, I love reading, the beach, fresh summer fruit and watching movies. Bright, warm mornings bring me indescribable joy. I no longer drink alcohol. I am a total optimist. My profession belies what a beach bum I really am. I think I am at a cross-roads in my life and spend a lot of time thinking. I believe everything happens for a reason.

I went pro on Flickr on January 2nd, 2009, not through any misconceptions on my part that I'm awesome at photography, but because it appeals hugely to my desire to organise. I love folders.
