For the longest time I painted and could never get the colors just right...then one day my husband gifted me a D60 and I went beserks...literally, taking tons of pictures, and the more pictures I took the more I fell in love with photography. I have my best friend Blue Dot Walker to thank as well, as he guided me through the technical aspects of photography and helped learn skills (I am still learning and always will) to get better.
Today I feel I take decent pictures but have a long long way to go before I presume to be called a photographer....but one thing is for sure...life through the lens is beautiful, fascinating and gives me emense pleasure...every time the shutter clicks...I capture a moment and a memory and thats the best part of it.
I have realized I love taking people pictures...the expressions, the look the tones on a person's face and body language, if captured right...can be so gratifying to freeze the moment. I do not put a lot of people pictures as I do not want to offend thus I keep them with me .. but they are the moments I re visit and take pleasure in knowing I have a moment of their lives with me...which they shared with me..and its only between us....
