Big Delicious Planet Catering & Canteen is a 4 Star Certified Green Restaurant, and was named the "Greenest Caterer in the Country" by the Green Restaurant Association.

Big Delicious Planet opened their full-service catering company in 1994. Tucked away amidst lofts and brick buildings in Chicago's West Town, their cafe, called the Canteen, is a locals hot spot for the young, creative clientele of the area, offering sandwiches, salads, and rotating hot entree items every day. As their name suggests, their food spans the globe from Mexico to Morocco, depending on the day. Their space is open and inviting, with warm light streaming in through the big windows.

Their urban farm, located on two lots next to their building, has 48 raised beds of organically grown vegetables, herbs and edible flowers, and a beehive.
