I'm Dan Brenton, an art major at Salem State University. My concentration is in printmaking and I had no idea what it was until I took my first course and became obsessed with it immediately. To be able to create multiple copies of an image is what fascinates me. My interest in art started with copying photos and paintings with just a pencil until I discovered photography in high school. Photography took me on its own adventure until I realized how much I loved to draw and create my own images rather than capture them from real life. I still use digital photography as inspiration for drawings which, for me, is always the first step in making a print.
