I am Sorry to any of you who enjoyed this photo collection but do to interweb drama I've decided to make them private again.
Sometime last week I was going through a google blog of rider/builder/all around good guy & he had 4 photos of a cut away panhead motor, I drag and dropped a couple of them into the Flickr page because I thought the subject was really cool & thought it might be nice to be able to check them out again. Within the next couple of days the photographer (who's flickr photostream I'd never seen) saw them, called me out on some sort of photo theft and wasn't too nice about it. I was thinking if these are on your page and I saw them I would've added them as favorites not just blatantly move over here?
Although I was not too into his tone I said 98% of these photo's are someone else's if credit is due credit you will absolutely receive. That was not good enough & I am a thief.
So because I can, I left one of them up over the weekend & voluntarily removed it on Monday 2/22/10.
The blog where I found them still has the photo's up and not so much as a comment from said photographer???
darkstartattoos.blogspot.com/2010/02/finest-machine-ever....
This also sucks because the guy who is bent at one point had made a couple comments here & seemed like a real guy who's been around and most likely has a good amount of history to share.
After all that's what this is about, for me at least.

They were less that one tenth of what I have from fourteen years of publishing newspapers about motorcycling. It took one person to take some of my photos and up load them on their site without my permission.
when confronted they wanted me to apologize since they state that their images are stolen. My profile states do not take them without permission. It went on for days as I asked Flickr to have him take them down.
He would put them back calling me names. I don't need that. When you get robbed you don't need to hang around the neighborhood to get robbed again. So I am out of here. It took Flickr days to get the photo removed, yet this person still has my images and can do whatever with them. I did not sign up for that type of abuse."
These photos are either stolen, borrowed, on loan, or shot by me. They came from anywhere & everywhere most of which I don't recall.
I keep them because I was inspired by a single small detail, a complete bike, or the photo itself.
If any of the content is yours, Thank You & by all means let me know.
Enjoy.
