Berkeley County Kids Who Care is a not-for-profit organization. We are able to continue to raise environmental awareness because of donations from our sponsors.

The Kids Who Care program conducts two projects each school year:

1. An environmental project competition

2. An environmental field day. The Berkeley County Kids Who Care Board of Directors hosts an annual environmental field day, entitled Backyard NatureScope, at the Old Santee Canal Park in Moncks Corner, SC.

The field day provides an opportunity for all the students who participate in the annual project competition to learn from environmental specialists and community businesses what can be done to protect and enhance our environment.
