I'm a married gal living in LA, in my early 40's. (The new 20's, they say!) Except for being a disabled vet, I feel young most days, even if I'm in pain.

I have WAY too many interests, including animals, plants, science fiction, technology, comics, literature, historic reenacting, the weird and wonderful, local history, anywhere in England, Germany, Italy, genealogy, oh yeah, photography, music of all types, architectural oddities... I just want to be able to get up and enjoy them sometimes, preferably with my hubby!

Photography is in my blood. My grandfather was head photographer at the San Diego Zoo and Wild Animal Park since before my birth! My goal is to be as good as he is. (And to inherit his Rollie from WWII!!!)

I seem to be able to see the quirky, the strange, and the downright silly in most things. The biggest quest I have is to find the perfect camera for me. I'm hoping for the Canon G9 for my birthday, image stabilization is now a priority.

So take a look at my shots, some are mundane daily things around my house, and some are things I'm still trying to figure out. (Why would I buy a can of aircraft remover?) Comments are greatly appreciated!
