I am a watercolor artist and retired elementary art teacher. I was influenced by the intimate views of flowers by the artist Georgia O'Keeffe and many of my paintings show close-up views. I paint a variety of subject matter, but the horse is one of my favorite subjects. I enjoy the challenge of portraits - both drawing and painting. I have a series of florals and several "purple cows." The challenge of painting in watercolors keeps me always wanting to know more.
