Flickr is a fantastic photo site. It has reinvigorated my love of all things photographic. This can also be said of my friend Bil. His love of good design is inherent in all of his artistic projects. His emphasis on composition transcends whatever medium or technology he chooses. Sticking with the status quo does not satisfy him. Bil is always looking to challenge himself and his creativity. Whether he is taking pictures using a Lomo camera or creating full motion video or using mixed media for a 2-D project, he is always looking for new methods to communicate ideas. On a more personal note, Bil is a genuinely great guy. He could keep himself busy with new projects, but he also highly values his family and personal life. Living everyday with an elegance that comes only to those who realize there is more to life than what can be seen before our eyes. Bil’s life is a shining example of living thoughtfully and intentionally. If you needed a shirt, he would give you the shirt off his back without a second of hesitation. The world is truly a richer place having him along for the ride.
