Dutch, born in the year 1962, and from childhood on playing with photocamera's. Inspiration and activity going up and down.

Mainly interested in cultural photo's. Cultural with a smal C, that is, culture of the street and daily life. Other countries, cultures, people. Starts already in Belgium ;-). Streetphotography and peoples portraits is my main focus.

Please note that my photo's are 'all rights reserved'. It means that if you want to use one of my photo's you have to contact me. I'm very flexible in the use of my photo's, and mostly, for non commercial use, I am happy with only my name below the picture (but ask me first!) .

UPDATE 2023:

I stopped with my intensive hobby. Sold all my gear, now only I have my telephone to make pictures.

I was always looking for a nice photographic scene, always carrying my backpack with my gear, and also thrown in discussion with myself whether this is/will be a photographic picture, or a holliday/family picture, or a series/documentary....

Now I have more rest. No discussions in my head, just enjoying life with all it's sceneries... Making photo's only with my smartphone when it is worth it for my own memory or gratification😊.
