How the hell did they do THAT? That's what I think sometimes when I discover some creative photographers's work on Flickr. For WFTO, I have to add "... with a mobile cam!". Indeed, here is an artist that is not limited by any equipment, but rather puts this menial tool to the max. Abstractions, colors and interesting structures, nothing is safe from his very personal perspective on the world. La fotografía de WFTO ha significado algo único para mí: el descubrimiento de las posibilidades de la fotografía en relación a las pequeñas y simples cosas de la vida, de nuestro cotidiano. He conocido pocos fotógrafos que, como él, tengan una mirada al mismo tiempo tan sensible y original. Siempre me provoca asombro lo que es capaz de hacer con el color, con la geometría que nos rodea, pero por sobre todo, esa mirada intensa y nueva sobre lo que le interesa fotografiar. Es un gran privilegio, ver sus fotografías diariamente, y un honor considerarlo mi amigo!

Honestly, Mr. Waiting for the Ocean has to be the most gifted artist I have come across on flicker. His ability to take the mundane and turn it into something important & beautiful is I believe a quality very few are able to produce.
