Man in my early 60's that loves music and photography. Married to my wife Marie over 35 years.

We live in east Tennessee USA.

I love photography, but music is my first love and I primarily play keyboards which includes Piano, Synth and Hammond Organ. I also play bass and have played it for about as long as I have keys. But there's generally more of a demand for bass players then keyboard players in my area. Gotta go where your needed and I love playing both.

My profile photo is me sitting behind my Roland VR-730 combo keyboard at a gig. Combo because it does Piano, Hammond Organ and Synth. It's made for live performance with lots of knobs and buttons so you can adjust things on the fly when playing. I did go by Mr Low Notes on here because when I opened my Flickr account I was playing bass in a band and the only good photo of me for a profile pic was me playing bass and I had been given the nick name of Mr Low Notes. And it wasn't taken either!!

And of course I love photography too. I have a Canon EOS R, 6D, 70D, 90D, M50 MK II, Original EOS M and a Powershot V10. I also have various lenses, lights and flashes. I like to take scenic shots the most and East TN is a pretty good place to do that. I live in Blount county which contains the southern part the Great Smoky Mountains National Park takes about 1/3 of the county. In other words I don't have far to go to "The Mountains". I like to take photos at public events. I've also done a few weddings years ago but generally it's not my thing.

Other cameras I have owned and used over the years: Chinon CP7m, Minolta Dimage EX 1500 (Zoom & Wide) and S414, Canon 300D Rebel, 400D Rebel XTi, and Powershot A590, Nikon L10 and Fujifilm S700. Minolta Dimage Scan Duel III. I still have all the above except the two Canon Rebels and S414. I got a good deal on a Canon Rebel 300D 3/05' and I really liked it and have stuck with Canon ever since.

I enjoy looking at other people's photos on here. There's a lot of great inspiring photos and photographers and a person can spend hours looking at their work!! I speak from experience.

I will no longer fave or follow anyone that posts all their work at resolutions less than 2048 on the long edge. Anything less is a waste of my time. I'm understand theft of work, but thieves no have AI to create whatever they want.

Flickr is what photography is about to me. Interesting and creative work. I don't care what brand of camera you took it with. The camera is no better than its operator. Same for musical instruments.

All G rated photos here. Nothing in friends or family sections. They are not used.

I'm currently Not For Hire for any drone photography or videography. Recreational use only..

Marie has gotten more interested in photography. She is now on here too as Smoky Mtn Marie.
