Hey, I volunteer with Baby Animal Rescue Koalition. I started taking pictures as a way of getting my foster puppies adopted faster. I think there have been around 270 in my foster home since November 2007. BARK is a Tucson-based non-profit organization built from the hard work of volunteers. All of the animals live in foster homes until they are adopted and they are required to be returned to us if they cannot be kept. BARK's no-kill and patient approach gives every dog rescued the lifestyle and chance they deserve.
Amid the revolving doggy door, I have 5 forever dogs: Madilyn, Herman, Lima Bean, Pickles and Fiona. They all make sporadic appearances in my Photostream. A giant African Sulcata has been making appearances lately too. His name is Tank and he makes his own path in life within the confines of our backyard.
Thousands of puppies and their mothers, have been placed with their ideal forever homes through BARK.

The more traffic we get, the faster our puppies seem to find healthy forever homes.
If you know any responsible potential dog owners in Tucson, please point them in the direction of our Petfinder webpage.
If you live in Tucson, please spread the word! We are always looking for adoption counselors, site volunteers on Saturdays and especially foster homes! It's SOOOO rewarding. Imagine the picture opportunities you'll immediately be afforded, all while helping BARK with saving and placing innocent canines.
