The bee's knees. A completely genuine and emotional photographer, a real sweetheart in person, and her photos make you just gush. Plus, she knows (and is related to?) a bevy of pretty little girls. And I mean that in a completely non-pervy way. Have I said too much?

Quite honestly, Cecily is my photographic inspiration and I unabashedly try to emulate her style. I started taking pictures in high-school but quit shortly thereafter. Seeing Cecily's black and white portraits in college inspired me to pick up a camera again. She's been putting her pictures up on the web long before "blogs" were around, so I always had a place to look for inspiration. Her ability to capture a fleeting emotion in a friend or stranger, while still taking "technically perfect" pictures is, I believe, one of her strongest skills.
