Photography is great, since getting a new camera this year I'm learning new skills to help me capture the magical and mundane things that have grabbed my attention and hopefully represent them as I experienced them.

And I've found myself looking at the world differently, noticing things like I'm seeing them for the first time, every time, and appreciating everything afresh. It's great and I hope that never wears off, our world and the beautiful moments we share in it are too precious and fleeting to miss a thing.

I'm using Flickr to be inspired, to push myself to improve, to commit to pictures I like (though I'm never perfectly happy!) and to learn what works and what doesn't, I'd love to hear your thoughts and tips...I'm not afraid of criticism so do your worst!
