Hi, I’m Sydney — a photographer based in the beautiful Okanagan Valley of British Columbia, Canada. Most of my photography is taken on my iPhone, capturing everyday moments as they unfold, but I’ve recently fallen in love with beginner 35mm film photography as well. I shoot film using disposable Fujifilm Quicksnap cameras and a Kodak Ektar H35, and I’m enjoying the slower pace, imperfections, and sense of surprise that film brings.

Much of my photography is inspired by the simple, meaningful things in my life — nature, travel, light, and the people (and animals) I love. My purebred female Weimaraner dog, Maeve, often finds her way into my photos and is both my constant companion and most willing subject.

By day, I work as a Human Resources Specialist, and outside of work I find joy in sports, music, books, faith, good food, time outdoors, and being present with friends, family, and Maeve. Photography, for me, is a way of noticing, remembering, and expressing gratitude for the beauty woven into everyday life.
