Thoroughbred Concierge Officer
Hello and Welcome to THOROUGHBRED HORSE RACING.
It is my greatest pleasure to introduce you to our group and tell you a little about it. A lot has been said about the horse racing industry, but unfortunately, very little has been told. As the creator, and an administrator for “THOROUGHBRED HORSE RACING” on sites, such as Facebook (group & fan page), Flickr, and YouTube, I am trying to fix that by introducing like minded horse people all around the world.
The horse racing industry has a very long story, rich in history and tradition that has brought all of us together to enjoy. We believe that as a group, we can communicate to greater possibilities of furthering everybody's future and create knowledge and awareness of all facets in the thoroughbred horse racing industry. We are trying to bring the world together, with the help of our members, the great equine athletes and of course, the fantastic people that dedicate their lives, their skills, and their knowledge of this sometimes very high risk industry.
The THOROUGHBRED HORSE RACING Facebook group and fan page are different groups. Both are run by me and my administrators. I look forward to chatting as a Facebook friend. Both post many links, comments, photos, and videos. With more and more daily postings, we all become a little more familiar with racing story’s from a wide variety of places that maybe none of us have ever been to, or will ever have the pleasure of visiting. They create a friendly atmosphere where individuals can create and post uncountable tiny milliseconds of their lives, on or off the track, in the barn, in the stall, or just about anywhere that Thoroughbred horse racing would reside.
The THOROUGHBRED HORSE RACING Flickr and YouTube groups are a great way to share photos and videos of all aspects of the racing industry from around the world. They give you the opportunity to see a wide variety of photos and videos of horse racing related subjects, showing the world, both human and equine history that time will quickly fade behind us. We can appreciate each second of life in previous times that we have all left behind. With over 26,000 pictures from around the world on the FLICKR group, of life from different tracks around the world, maybe very close to your home. The pictures can provide hours of entertainment, with new pictures added on a constant basis, by new members and old members alike.
Many members in the professional, amateur, and hobby photography fields, make their living photographing racehorses, creating a repertoire of the massive amount of horseracing pictures, which become the time capsule machine on the Internet for thousands to enjoy. They show their lives, their friends’ lives, and their family’s lives, Creating incredible possibilities and dreams as we've seen of late with the likes of Black Caviar Barbaro, Rachel Alexandra, Zenyatta and thousands of other famous and not so famous equine and human athletes. They RECAPTURE many of our greatest memories for us to create a social sandbox and regional playground that we all may participate in, with photos, comments, links and discussions of every topic related to the Thoroughbred Horse Racing industry.
Please take the time to join us in any or all of the above groups, and post a hello, racing news or other information that you might be aware of, that someone on the other side of the planet may enjoy. Describe your new note here.To date this is the largest Flickr collection of thoroughbred related pictures available on the Internet.
