Hi I'm Sarah,
I'm an Art and Design teacher from the U.K. I love all things art and craft and am always looking for new ways of being creative. I don't really get to paint much anymore and have recently become addicted to other less time consuming activities, such as needle and wet felting, sewing, photography and of course Blythe!
When I first discovered Blythe through the work of Gina Garan in 2004, I was hooked and couldn't wait to get my first doll.
Since then Blythe has opened up a whole world of creativity for me, which I can easily pick up and put down. I love customising the dolls myself and creating characters; I love making things for Blythe, photographing her and admiring the work of others.
I have recently become best buddies with with my sewing machine and am becoming better acquainted with my new camera.
I love Art, particularly portraiture and I am a bit of a traditionalist in that I appreciate drawing and painting most. Some of my favourite artists are David Hockney, Stanley Spencer, Klimt, Hundertwasser and local artist Paul Wright. I also really love Illustration and toys including urban vinyl toys and more traditional yet quirky kinds.
As well as my Blythes, I have a growing collection of vintage and modern toys. Check out the work of another of my favourite local artists, Deborah Darling:

I have an Etsy store that will have listings from time to time, including handmade craft and Blythe goodies:
I have a very new blog:
