I began my journey with Black & White photography in the lab, developing a deep passion for capturing candid street moments with my trusty MinoX camera (8 x 11 mm).

After some time, I upgraded to a Nikon F, but eventually found my true love in the Leica M6, which served me faithfully for two decades. As technology advanced, I made the switch to the digital version when it became available. My compact camera setup (comprised of a 28:5.6 summaron lens and a 50:3.5 Elmar Redscale) has become an essential part of my photography, despite a brief flirtation with the "Gear Acquisition Syndrome."

When I take photos, I let my heart guide me. While I appreciate the beauty and expression of Black & White imagery , I also use few colors .

En tant qu'écolier, j'ai découvert la petite caméra espion Minox (8 x 11 mm) et j'ai tout de suite été fasciné par sa capacité à capturer des clichés instantanés. Cette expérience a marqué le début de mon aventure dans le monde de la photographie en noir et blanc et a éveillé en moi une passion pour les prises de vue rapides.

Par la suite, j'ai fait l'acquisition d'un Nikon F que j'ai rapidement remplacé par le célèbre Leica M6, un appareil incroyable qui m'a accompagné pendant plus de 20 ans. Avec l'avènement de la photographie numérique, j'ai finalement opté pour la version numérique de cet appareil emblématique.

Compact et robuste, mon Leica ne me quitte presque jamais, accompagné de mes objectifs préférés : le 28:5.6 Summaron et le 50:3.5 mm Elmar Redscale. En tant qu'amateur passionné, j'ai eu l'opportunité d'exposer mes photos à deux reprises en solo.

Pour moi, la photographie est avant tout une affaire de cœur. Je m'efforce de capturer chaque image avec émotion et de transmettre cette émotion à travers mes clichés.

Je tiens également à remercier chaleureusement tous ceux qui ont montré de l'intérêt pour ma galerie, qui compte aujourd'hui plus de 16 millions de vues. Cela me touche énormément et m'encourage à continuer à partager ma passion pour la photographie .

What can I say, I'm in love with the world as I see it, mostly in B&W :) There's nothing in the world like the sweet sound of a Leica shutter. I still have a lot to learn, but always having fun doing it. I try to carry my camera everywhere I go. I would definitely not call my self a technician, I go with my guts, it's always right by me :) I hope you'll enjoy some of my images. JC
