Hi everybody!

I was born in Mexico City and raised in Los Angeles and Sacramento before moving to Portland, Oregon. I’m a drummer, b-boy, and lifelong artist. My birth name is Chazaq Luz Pinto Rodriguez; Chazaq was given to me by my father and means: Be strong, courageous and be of good valor (Joshua 1:9).

Moving around the U.S. as a child was influential for my art as I was exposed to graffiti everywhere I went. I’ve been heavily involved in hip-hop and graffiti since the early 90s and am an active member of the Oregon chapter of the Universal Zulu Nation. My work expresses my individuality and my personal take on graffiti as an art form. My style involves bold, clean lines and single line drawings using paint pens and aerosol; my favorite medium is ink. I live for music, dance, art, fun and most importantly, love.
