I was born in Sarasota, FL. Lived in Florida, Virginia, Kentucky, and Boston, MA before coming to Texas. After high school, I left for college in Florida. However, never attended. Found out dad was moving to Germany, so I came back. Started school at CTC, was a Commercial Art Major, then switched to Physical Education. Met my wife, Geri, while substituting as a teacher in KISD. Left for Germany, stayed 31 days and moved back to Texas. Every time I left Texas, something (or someone) always brought me back. Completed a B.S.ed with a specialization in Biology from the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor. I taught 5th grade for ten years. I moved to middle school four years ago to teach 6th grade science and coach. My first two years coaching football, we went undefeated and won the district championship two years back-to-back. This year I coached my third season of football and first basketball season. I have two children, Matt (7th grade) and Amy (5th grade).
