To be honest, I am more of a musician than a photographer. Music is the art I actually learnt, but for some reason I started to feel the urge to find a way of visual expression.

Something made me take my camera one night, back in 2008 or 2009, and just go out and catch some emotions. It was not a good camera and it might not have been incredibly good pictures I shot on that occasion, but something surely kicked off that night.

Up to this day I feel the same sensation when I think to have discovered a unique motive or situation, just as I do when I have a musical idea. I have learnt that visual and acoustic art both follow the same rules and are basically the same.

Tonality, rhythm and dynamics are essential in any picture, movie or song, and so it is possible to transfer the principles of music to a picture, or actually any kind of art, and vice versa.
