I'm living in working in Japan

In the summer of 2009, I bought a DSLR (Canon Kiss X2 -- that's the Japanese model name for the XSi/450D), and it's given me many days of happily sore shoulders since.

Right now I'm trying to "graduate" to the next level. Since buying the Canon, I've been mostly satisfied with the increase in the quality of my photos that accompanied the upgrade in technology. Now that I've grown more comfortable using the camera, I want to focus again on the photographer (since that's all I could rely on when I was shooting with a point-and-shoot).

I'd like to be a better Flickr user. I definitely take more than I contribute to the community (in terms of viewing and commenting on photos). Feel free to egg me on!
