There was this wire, and it stretched from one side of the canyon to another. And I suddenly found myself balancing on it in the middle of it's length. The sky was a daring blue, not even a speck of a bird could be seen. And I realized that I was completely alone. The spectators had left. The only sound for miles was the ringing in my ears. As hot as it was, from the sun beating down on me, I did not wish for any wind. Any direction it blew, I knew I would tumble into the darkness below. At that moment, I realized how utterly helpless I was, so I started praying for a miracle.
