Ever since I was a kid, I loved taking pictures. I started out with an old Polaroid that used flash strips, and moved on to toy 110 cameras after my mom realized how expensive Polaroids were getting! After that, I wasn't really creative with photography, but I always had a camera of some kind.

After graduating from college, I got a Canon S3 IS, which let me mess with things like ISO, shutter speed, and f-stop. After a while, that wasn't enough, so I bought a Pentax K200D. Then, I was given a Pentax ME Super 35mm SLR, which made me crazy about shooting film. I shot weddings and events professionally for a few years, then took a break from photography for about 10 years. In 2024, I jumped back into the hobby when I took a darkroom class.
