documentation is the purpose of my pictures. Just everyday photographs. That's why I prefer a point&shoot camera. the pics do not pretend to be works of art.

Update 7-15-2022 During so many years I tried picturing my vision of the world in which we live. Shooting with all different kind of cameras. Don’t remember brands. Most terrible was the loss of all. Camera’s & negatives & more. December 2020 was horrible. Typhoon Goni (Rolly) and Vamco (Ulysses)

At that time my computer crashed. Bye bye 16 GB pictures. Some I could retrieve from Google. Others were still on USB sticks. After this disaster I was not in the mood to go on anymore.

It took & still takes me energy & courage to stand up again. Next step is questioning myself: petrus bagasbas what do you want”. My first Flickr statement (2003) was about documentation. Flickr’s cloud is best to look back over my shoulders with a grin. How did I live at that time? As autodidact I had to learn using my camera seeing the world in a different way. Still I am a shooter. My mind & eyes see the world differently. Enjoying the common colours of life which are not common at all. Meet me in my pictures, albums & galleries.
