I started out as a painter, but took up photography in January 2008. I started with a Canon Powershot point and shoot, moved up to a Canon SX10, which I used on the manual settings, then moved up to the true DSLR world with a Canon T3/1100D. Spring 2013 I acquired a Canon 40D, then moved to a Canon 70D. I am currently using a Canon 5D Mark IIN. Nature is primarily my focus, especially furry and feathered creatures, flowers, and I'm attracted to light/shadow and lines and angles. I use Photoshop with a few plugins (Neat Image, Topaz Adjust, Redfield Fractalius) for postworking. You can likely tell from my stream that I'm in the Pacific Northwest and have visited London frequently.
