After being bitten by the shutter bug:

 

Part I

 

His love of photography started in March 1982 when a young man called Bill purchased his first camera a Pentax M E Super 35mm, film camera, together with a Pentax 20mm ,50mm & 70-210 Sigma zoom lenses, he dabbled in photography for a few years then stopped.

 

Part II

 

May 1995 Bill (now slightly older and it must be said going slightly grey) took up snapping again when he purchased a Cannon EOS 5, 35mm film camera with a 28-105 cannon lens. Later that year he took a city & guilds photography course at Brighton Polytechnic Of Art & Design, working with film and getting down and dirty in the darkroom, and in August 1996 passed with distinction in the hope of a career change into the world of photography. Well that didn’t work and his trusty cannon saw more of the inside of its camera bag than it should have, until again, he rarely took any pictures.

 

Part III

 

Hoorah for the digital age, in December 2006 Bill (Christ he’s gone grey!!) purchased his trusty Nikon D80,then in December 2009 upgrades to a D300s, AF-S DX 18-70mm and AF-S DX 12-24mm zoom lenses, which brings us to the third and final part of a brief history of a happy snapper.Detemined to carry on taking photos that please him and keep him sane, yes he’ll always be a keen amateur always learning but he’s enjoying it!
