I became interested in photography when my dad taught me how to print B&W photos. I was about 12yrs old. My mom then gave me a Kodak Instamatic camera and I was all set. When I was around 19yrs old I got a job in a commercial studio doing Illustrative Advertising. Stayed 3 yrs and then opened my own place. As fill work I took newspaper assignments and also did promotional fliers for rock bands. Eventually I discovered the world of Wedding Photography. I did that for 9yrs and then had the opportunity to do headshot and portfolio work for various agencies, until I retired (semi actually) 6yrs ago. For the past 13yrs my wife and I have owned (me) and operated (her) a full service photo lab here in New Jersey. I’m still active in photography, both film and digital and probably always will be. My Flickr site shows times of my life that were important to me, nothing more, nothing less.
