In 1996 Back To Books was formed as a Reading Group and commissioned artist Carole Miles and author Kathy Page to create a series of stories and prints which toured as The Sensuous Page.

2008 saw the reincarnation of Back to Books; today the members are drawn together by a passion for reading, writing and making.

In 2009 they staged the Invisible Threads Project and in 2011 the group staged a number of events around The Big Draw in a project called New Vistas/Wider Horizons.

During October 2011 / December 2012 the group worked on an ambitious new Project, On the Right Track - Brampton Valley Health Walks / Life Cycles.

They have funding to create a series of mosaic Way Markers along the Brampton Valley Way during 2013
