I have my own freelance business doing graphic and website design. My husband has recently teamed up with me to form our own design company called Pastel Black.
In a former life, I was an actress and model in New York, although I'm glad to have broken the habit and moved to a tamer environment. :)
Pastel Black is also on Facebook, Twitter, and Linkedin. Or if you care to read my own personal rants and musings in 140 characters or less, here's my personal twitter.

Read lessKirsten's photos always have this somehow magical quality to them because she seems to bring a degree of insight to everything she turns her lens on. I adore her work.
As I continue to "get to know" Kirsten one thing resonates, as it did the first time I met her, she is a genuine person, she is deeply passionate about all that she loves in life and without question she admires those who inspire her and in turn those people who know her are inspired themselves...she does not hesitate … Read more

Kirsten captures all the little moments that make life so interesting. When you look at her photos, there seems to be something almost magical in them. Like a beautiful song just on the edge of hearing. Of course that's probably reflecting the type of person she is, because she also happens to be one of the kindest most supportive people I know. So to sum up: She shoots cool stuff and knows how to pack meaning into a seemingly mundane moment, and I can't think of a higher compliment to give than that.

Baby Dove's self-effacing nature borders on the criminal. She's so generous minded that you'd never hear this from her, but I'd describe her way of seeing the world (as shown in her sets about People, Randomness, and Light) like this: Uniquely beautiful, expressive, and full of fun. Anyone fortunate enough to work with her on a photo shoot, movie, play, or other artistic project will probably agree that her absolute committment to the finished product and to a positive experience for everyone involved could (almost) make them forget the electric thrill of those eyes staring into yours. Whether in front of it or behind, I hope she's not far from a camera for a long, long time to come Oh, by the way, she took this picture of me

I think this could go without saying, but Baby Dove is a Very Beautiful Woman!!! And she lives in the worlds Biggest City, New York! She captures the everyday existence of mass transits a give us a unique perspective of Street life in the Big Apple! Her Snaps of the casual passerby are interesting. Not to mention the way she captures empty spaces in a city of 8 million is a complete mystery to me. I love the angles she gets from quick snaps while in motion.. *Check her series on Light, one shot particularly really stands out and is my personal favorite! “Shot in the Dark!” Keep your eye on this Dove!
