Baang and Burne Contemporary, is an unconventional art gallery with the spirit of an indie rock band, founded by Charlie Grosso (aka Mr.Baang) and Kesha Bruce (aka Mr. Burne) in 2009.

Their gallery takes its name from a cold-war era espionage term used to describe covert sabotage and demolish operations. Grosso explains, “When we came across the term ‘bang and burn’ it seemed perfect. Our approach is about removing the barriers that are part of the old-school art buying experience and creating something new.”

We are committed to asking challenging questions and using the gallery to continually experiment so that we may find the new solutions for both artists and collectors.
