I'm retired from the defense business. I lost my lovely wife of 25 years, Linda Lee, in January 2011. Prior to that my photography was mostly snapshots taken with various point-and-shoot cameras during our many travels.

Looking for something to do with myself I decided to rekindle a 40-year-old interest in (amateur) photography. For now, I shoot whatever presents itself when I press the shutter.

My equipment is a Canon 7D, with the following lenses:

Canon EF-S 17-85 mm f4 - 5.6 IS USM

Canon EF 28-135 mm f3.5 - 5.6 IS USM

Canon EF 70-200 mm f4 L USM

Canon EF 100mm f/2.8 USM Macro

and two Canon Powershot A570 IS.
