The Reid R Sacco Adolescent & Young Adult (AYA) Cancer Alliance was started in 2005 after the death of Reid Sacco, age 20, to cancer. Since that time, the Alliance has raised money to support innovative programs to address the unmet needs in clinical research, clinical care, and survivorship of those between the ages of 15 and 39 who are fighting their cancer and/or the side effects of cancer treatment. The primary fundraiser of the Alliance is the annual Reid's Ride 28-mile Bike Ride. Photos from that event are catalogued in a separate Flickr site (search "Reid's Ride").
