I have worked as a Graphic Artist/Illustrator for The University of Iowa and as a freelance artist since 1985. In my time at The University of Iowa, I have worked in the Center for Media Production (formerly the Audiovisual Center), Graphics Unit, which provides a wide range of services and products to the UI and the public. My position has given me a chance to experience a variety of media and clientele, from illustrations published in scientific journals to producing and designing Hawkeye Football posters and brochures.

I have more than 20 years of experience with Adobe Creative Suite applications such as Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign. I have also had experience with Dreamweaver, as well as Microsoft Office software, including Word, Powerpoint & Excel. I am a very hands-on person, personally designing and building display elements from scratch, as well as, web sites. I am very attentive to details, without getting lost in them. Less is more, the simpler the better in communicating ideas.
