Pearl is one of my dogs and she has completely taken over my house! It's all about "her." But in a very, very sweet way. She doesn't have a mean bone in her body -- spoiled and manipulative maybe, but not mean.

As for me, I'm a serious animal lover! And now I seem to be a serious Flickr lover! At least it doesn't cost me money like my eBay obsession used to!

I live in Los Angeles and volunteered in animal rescue for many years. Since I started my own business as a landscape designer I've sadly been too busy for volunteer work. But I still help where I can and "rescue" whoever crosses my path.

I currently have 2 dogs & 4 cats. I lost my "baby" Jack to Feline Leukemia in Feb '08 at the young age of 5 -- I rescued his litter from a desperate situation and bottle fed them. So you can imagine the relationship I had with my sweet Jack -- I was his mommy! And who woulda thought he'd turn out to be a Ragdoll given the fact that he would have been feral if I didn't rescue them. And of course I got hooked and now have a new baby boy Jaxson who will follow in Jack's foot-steps as the man of my all-girl household!

Other than that I Iove music (am a sucker for rap, but love most other music -- rock, funk, alternative, blues...) and used to work in the music business for many years -- with some very big artists too I might add! I love to travel and though I love the fast life of the city, I loooove natural beauty and give me a warm ocean or rainforest and I'll be in heaven! I REALLY want to go to Japan, Spain & Greece!!! Someday......!

I love vintage clothes (60's/70's) and housewares (40's-60's). I used to have a love for Asian everything, but my likes have turned more modern/contemporary -- though I still have my love of Jadite and anything else in the greens & aquas for the kitchen & garden.

And of course as a landscape designer I admire and notice everything around me. I really appreciate color -- as well as the lack of color.

I'm a kid that loves to have fun! Love action/adventure movies and driving fast! But I also love "good" things and appreciate the finer things in life -- like food. Speaking of which -- I have a saying......"I don't eat anything I would name!"

So - we'll see where this goes. So far I've meet some very nice people, have been touched by how many people out there care for animals as I do, and am being exposed to some amazing photography -- so yes, I'm having a lot of fun with Flickr!
