I live in the Netherlands and possess a bachelor's degree in History and a master's degree in Public Administration. Because of my interest in History I often place photographs of archaeological sites and museums in my photostream.

I like writing Wikipedia articles and supplying them with good photos. Initially I only used this Flickr account to ask Flickr members if they are willing to relicense their photos to the Creative Commons Attribution or Attribution-ShareAlike license so I can upload them to Wikimedia Commons. Except for some RAW editing to correct underexposure (my Fujifilm X100S loves to do that) I try to upload most of my photos as JPEG files directly from my camera. I've used an Olympus E-430 with kit lens, a Nikon D5100 with the Nikon AF-S DX 35mm f/1.8G lens and now use a Fujifilm X100S.
