My home is in a village between Hamburg and Lübeck.

From 1980 to 1991 I traveled around the world as a sailor. I worked as technical officer aboard of several merchant ships.

I started with photography as my hobby in 1979.

My first camera was a Practica LTL3 (Pentacon 50/f1.8) - a simple SLR camera with light meter.

Then I have had two analog cameras. CANON EOS 100 and CANON EOS 5. For flickr I have to scan slides with my film-scanner Minolta DIMAGE Scan Dual IV.

In February 2007 I bought my first DSLR-camera EOS400D. Later in October 2007 I changed to EOS 40D and EOS 5D III

Since then my wife Kerstin (unicorn81) works with EOS 450D and EOS 80D very successful.

 

Don't hesitate to give fair comments to pictures and perhaps to my english language.
