When I was at the age of 5, I learned that I had Autism, Asperger Syndrome. Ever since I learned about it, I wanted to learn how it affected not only on how I see the world and how other people see me. However, as I was learning I was also noticing how a lot of people thought about Autism. Some people think "oh no! my child has Autism, it's the end of the world!" or, "Oh, it's an illnes." However, there are two things that people tend to miss about Autism: 1. Even if Autism is scientifically called a "disorder", it's more like a different way of looking at life, just like anyone elses' point of view. 2. Normal people are just as much a stranger to us as we are to them. So what I hope to do is to teach other people what it is like to be Autistic, and see the world through Autistic eyes.
