For over a year I could not add photos, first I broke my camera and then my computer. A friend gave me Canon EOS 550D, and now I have bought a new computer, so I can send photos again.

The more photos you upload to Flickr, the more difficult it is to remember and find out which photos are there. That is a part of the reason that I have formed a lot of albums on different subjects, which I can check. Also visitors can select albums on subjects they are interested in and in that way they can also see some of the older photos if they wish.

I love Flickr! I have tried some other photo sites but I like the connection you get with people here and I like the groups, I probably have joined too many, mostly location and subject related.

I lived over 3 decades in Finland, but I have also lived in Denmark, Australia and Norway. I have only had access to digital after I moved to Norway. In Australia I took mostly slides.

I had the good fortune to visit Australia in 2007 but I was stupid enough to use an inferior camera, Sony DSC-P32, so especially videos I took are useless:

As a teenager, I started by taking b/w photos with a folding camera. A camera I liked later was Minolta7s, taking quite sharp photos. Later I had Minolta Dynax 500si.

I liked quite a lot, it took even film well, but it gave up the ghost after I had used it in freezing weather (condensation?)

I have also used Canon PowerShot A720 IS, Panasonic Lumix DMC-FS62, Lumix DMC-FP3 and Canon Powershot A490, DSLR would be ideal but I cannot afford one yet.
