I have had a variety of interests, pastimes, jobs - whatever. Right now I am focusing on melting glass into beads. I took a glass bead making class in 2000 but I never got the supplies and equipment to set up a studio at home. Finally, at the beginning of 2005, I used my tax refund to buy a basic setup with a Hot Head torch. I dabbled in glass a bit until I got sick in in 2006, and stopped making beads. It wasn't until February of 2008 that I started feeling well enough to start making beads again. I rediscovered the beauty and allure of melting glass. I love making beads, and I think I have finally found my passion.
