After careers in television news and advertising, I realized the next step in least respected professions was prostitution. So I became a farmer. I'm much happier for it. Seriously, or maybe not so seriously, my eccentric British husband and I fell into farming -- specifically managing a vineyard and making wine, olive oil and verjus.
