I live in the western region of the Edwards Plateau, deep in the Texas Hill Country. I'm an avid outdoorsman spending a large portion of my time "out there" roaming the wide open spaces. Much of my photography is simply doing what I love to do,

 

I was introduced to photography, during my early years, at a school sponsored photography/film development program. I shot film off and on through the years (35mm). A lot of my focus, during these years, centered around my experiences served in the US Coast Guard (20 years). Most of this early film stock is now un-useable. I certainly wished, the digital world we have now, was available then.

 

The challenges posed with closing the distance, pursuing wildlife photography, is an absolute hoot for me! I never know, from day to day, what my lens will bring or what my eyes will see. The experience out there alone is everything to me. If I capture pixels along the way , it's icing on the cake.
