Crazy about wild orchids and rare wildflowers. Most of my travels are around the whole state of Michigan, looking for all of those fascinating orchids and wildflowers. Sometimes taking as many as 1000 or more photos( for focus stacking ) of the same flower. You just have to get the perfect pose for those little gems!

After 15 years, photographed all of Michigan's Native Orchids. The botanists say one is no longer in the state, small whorled pogonia. Maybe someday!!
