My love for modern and mid-20th century run deep; I grew up in Southern CA, near Palm Springs in the late 60's and 70's.

I co-founded SacMod.org, a 501(c)(3)non-profit dedicated to promoting, preserving and protecting modern art, architecture and design in the Sacramento region. We organized the Sacramento Mid-Century Modern Home Tours in 2010, 2013, 2016, and 2019, as well as many other film screenings, lectures, small tours, and exhibits.

My specialty is doing research. When I'm not busy being a mom or working on a home improvement project, I'm dusting off old ephemera and documents, sitting in front of a microfilm reader, or otherwise digging into libraries and archives. The result: preserved vintage neon signs, several mid-20th century landmarks, and a historic survey and context statement for Mid-Century Modern places in the City of Sacramento.
